Built in 1967, the 188,000 square-foot facility underwent an extensive five-year renovation of all its energy systems and components resulting in a modernized, sustainable building. New high performance green building features include a geothermal HVAC system, photovoltaic system, microturbine, rain water harvesting system, low-energy lighting, high-efficiency windows and water-conserving plumbing fixtures.
